X-ray Archives Case #4 |
Did you miss an interesting radiographic case? Not to worry! It's in THE ARCHIVES For more information on the cases below, be sure to read Dr. Rummel's article in your local paper. In a few days, you can find by clicking here We've decdeded to start the new year playing one of our favorite games... Fetch. But our version of fetch is a little different. In our version, the furry family member eats something they shouldn't... and we go and fetch it! Out first case just goes to show how misleading names can be.
More like un-satey pin. After playing surgical fetch, we were able to get this dangerous object out. Just incase you are wondering, this furry family member wasn't a retreiver.
Another one of our favorite things to do is fish. Unfortunately our friend didn't know that the hooks are for the fish.
Luckily, we were able to "lure" this hook out with a little surgery.
Please remember, our furry family members often cannot tell what is unsafe for them to play with. Like a young person, they often explore their world with their mouths. Shiny objects are often very appealing. Try to keep in mind just how curious your cat (and dog) can be! |
