X-ray of the Month

Did you miss an interesting radiographic case? Not to worry!

It's in THE ARCHIVES

This week's case is all about the abdomen and chest, and what we can see in them with a radiograph, or x-ray.

The first film we have, looks like there are a bunch of ghosts or aliens floating around inside. Can you guess what they are?

It looks as though we have an expectant mother! That's right, those aren't ghosts or aliens, they're puppies! Do you see the round skulls and long vertebral columns of the young dogs?

What do you think of this next chest film?

Do you see the fluffy clouds? What are those?

There are more in this next picture...

Unfortunately, those aren't clouds at all. Those are tumors! This unfortunate dog had very far progressed metastatic cancer.
